Narcissism

After teaching high school English for a tiny bit in North Carolina, I decided I was no where near settling down and brought my love of travel and educating together. I moved to Korea to teach English. I've been in Naju for over a year now, and can't seem to part with my wee city love.
Supposedly Naju is famous for it's pears. Too bad I don't enjoy pears.

Jennifer likes: traveling (obviously), reading, writing, accomplishing death-defying acts, non-whiny music, sarcasm, laughing, coffee, grocery shopping, riding bicycles, talking in 3rd person, and dark chocolate

Jennifer dislikes: doing laundry, disrespectful travelers, whining, mosquitos, homesickness, falling off bicycles, too much sun, too much rain, ignorance, pears, people asking if I live in North Korea, and white chocolate

Before the move to Korea, other teacher's blogs were an invaluable resource, especially the ones that didn't detail every drunken night or what they didn't like about Korea. So the purpose of this blog is to communicate with my family and friends around the world and to return the favor to those wonderful bloggers who eventually convinced me to buy a plane ticket and get out in the world. Future travelers, I hope you find sound advice, comfort, and encouragement in what I offer. But also remember that I am one person with my own set of opinions and thoughts. My experiences will not be the same as others. Check out other bloggers as well. There are some truly great ones out there! Happy travels!
